Submission Format

​

The Editor invites submissions appropriate to the mission of the D.H. Lawrence Review.  The journal publishes articles accompanied by notes and and bibliographies.  Manuscripts should not exceed 8000 words without prior authorization.  Submissions must not be under consideration elsewhere. The D.H. Lawrence Review does not accept previously published material.  Payment is in contributor copies only.  Authors receive two hard copies of the issue in which their articles appear.

Send submissions electronically as an attachment in Word to Richard A. Kaye, Editor, RKaye@gc.cuny.edu.  Essays should be formatted in the Modern Language Association citations style.  Any notes should be in the form of endnotes and come after the text of the article.  The Works Cited page should follow any endnotes.  Submissions should contain one-inch margins, 12 pt font, and double spaced throughout, including endnotes and bibliography.

The D.H. Lawrence Review is a peer-reviewed publication.  Evaluation of submissions will normally take up to three months.

Book reviews are assigned by the Book Review Editor.  Starting January 30, 2021 please send copies of books for review to the Book Review Editor, Joost Burgers, 3520 Courtland Drive, Durham, NC 27707.
